We are off to the awards ceremony this weekend! Anya will be donning her designer togs ready to shake hands with Hugh Fernley-Whittingstall and accept our award for producing the finest organic fruit or vegetable (the Crooked End Farm Organics mixed salad and her bag) in the whole of the UK . And while Anya is flying the Crooked End banner amongst the paparazzi and celebrities, I will be at the Usk Show, hoping for a nice sunny day!
On the home front we are waiting for Blackberry to farrow. September 19th is her official due date, but we have brought her into the stable a bit earlier so she can get used to her new surroundings. We are also very grateful that John has been able to stand in as our Thursday delivery driver while Ciaran is off. He is still getting used to the Crooked End way of doing things, so please bear with us.
