Lots of excitement here at t ‘End as our planning application for move of the Farm Shop has been submitted and is in the consideration process. We currently have a very cramped shop with no room for a decent display of fresh meat or chilled dairy etc. We are proposing to renovate and convert an existing barn elsewhere on the site to form a new shop, cold store and preparation area, with space for a cafe and a much more comprehensive display of our produce. You can see the application and some of the responses by other stakeholders here . So far so good – we know that the Parish Council and local business development agency have supported the application and we have seen no objections yet at all. We know that this is only the first step on what will be long process but fingers crossed we may still be able to open the new shop sometime in the next 12-18 months.
